La Cuvee formerly know as Eno Restaurant are delighted to host , La Cuvée Wine Producer Dinner with the wines of Chateau Fontareche
Taking place on Thursday, November 26th, Max has created a wonderful menu to compliment the extraordinary wines chosen by Richard McMahon. The wines chosen are from Chateau Fontareche, in the rural district of Corbieres, France.
Chateau Fontareche, located on the southern most coast of France, lies just south of Narbonne and Languedoc. Founded in 1201 by the Archbishop of Narbonne, who built the Chateau, surrounded by a trench in a place named Fontareche. The Chateau later became home to a long line of Aristocrats and in 1682 the Chateau began producing wines. The current owner, Arnaud Comte de Lamy, descended from the Mignards, cut his teeth with one of Pomerol's most prestigious estates before working as director of vineyards for Jean-Pierre Moueix, owners of one of the most expensive wines in the world, Petrus. Arnaud's successor, Vincent Dubernet, is now running Chateau Fontareche, and has carried on the tradition of making fine wines from the local grape varietals which are mainly Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre and old Carignan.
The wines chosen for you to taste will reflect the estates finest examples of their traditional varietals and the fine wines region of Corbieres.
Dinner will commence at 7.30pm sharp. Tables are available by booking through email at email@example.com or call 01 605 4912 priced at €45 per person plus 12.5% service charge.
