For the second time, Dublin Docklands Development Authority commissioned the Dublin Fringe to design an outdoor event for the opening of the festival around Georges Dock. After the magnificent fire installation of La Carabosse in 2006, water is the underlying theme in 2007.

The event sprung from different wells around the city and trickle in growing (human) streams toward the sea, gathering momentum and scale as it approached Georges Dock were it culminated in a transformation of exquisite beauty. Devised by the famed Russian performance group Derevo and featuring hundreds of brass musicians, performers and acrobats this was an unique collective experience.
